COSMETIKWATCH® has unearthed a number of products that allow you to play with their texture and that are riding the #cryotherapy and #icefacials trend.
The first two products from Spanish brands SKIN GENERICS and LA CABINE are gels or gel-creams. Their texture changes from light gel to sorbet when stored at temperatures below 0ºC. This means they can be used interchangeably:
- Frozen version for an icy effect and to combat tired, puffy skin.
- Room temperature version as a moisturiser.
The third product from Australian brand ICE GLOW is a serum to be poured into a silicone cup and covered with an applicator stick before placing in the freezer for at least 4 hours (you know, like when you make homemade pomegranate sorbet for your children).
The brand claims to offer a refreshing facial treatment that stimulates circulation, moisturises, soothes, tightens and tones.
Finally, the latest products from American brands SOFIE PAVITT FACE and AMEON come in individual pods filled with a freezing solution. After a few hours, each pod can be used by using gauze or cotton wool to remove the ice cube before applying it in a circular massage all over the face and décolleté.
